Our First Jennet Foal Of The Year !!
We are really excited about this gal. I was expecting a boy from Rose
since her last two foals were both jennets. And the fact it just seemed to
be our year for jacks. LOL ! When I noticed Rose leaking White Milk
I knew it wouldn't be long before her baby arrived. I came back to the
house and told Melvin that we needed to start thinking of another boy name.
Then I sais to him. Oh heck, We'll just call him George. LOL !!
Hence her name, Georgia. : )
Georgia is our last Lucky foal to be born here. He now lives in Montana.
We are very pleased with Georgia as we have always been with Lucky foals
and Roses foals.

Pee Wee made us wait on this guy ! Her 12 month gestation date
was May 7th. That's right, She went 13 months !!! WOW !!
He was well worth the wait !!! TINY, STOCKY, and GREAT CONFORMATION !
He's very small even though his mom carried him for 13 months. I could
only imagine how small he would have been at 12 months gestation !
I haven't found a thing wrong with this guy ! So beautiful ! And a nice
pedigree to boot. He has excellent potential as a future herd sire.

I have waited a long time for this baby. And he was for sure
Well worth the wait.
We purchased Doll as a weanling. I knew from day one. She was going to
produce small excellent foals for us. This guy proves me right ! LOL !
He has one of the smallest heads I have ever seen. His eyes are just
beautiful and bright. His legs are straight with good width all around.
Nice full rear end. Short stocky neck. Just an all around nice looking boy !

I was starting to think this guy was never going to get here. Delta was due
 on April 19th.. Needless to say... The 19th was here and gone and still no baby !
So after 7 extra sleepless nights he finally arrived in the middle of the
afternoon. LOL !
We were really hoping for a spotted jennet when we paired up Delta and Lucky.
Especially since we have recently sold Lucky ! But at least we were lucky enough
to get the spotz we were hoping for. ( Hence the name )
Spotz is a really nice looking boy ! He has nice bone, full rear end and a cute head.
Through out his coat he has some quarter sized black spots. And in his brown
spots there are a few black hairs. Not sure if the brown ones will darken or not ?

Our first foal of the year. Born on St Patrick's Day !
He is not the color I was expecting out of this pairing. I was thinking
that I would get a red or gray. But look at that beautiful brown coloring !
Paddy is one thick little guy ! He has his daddy's great bone !
This is one of the reasons I just love Cherry's foals.
Paddy is so super friendly. At only 6 hours old he was already trying to
get in my lap. Maggie's going to have her hands full with this little guy !
I have not measured him yet. But can tell he is on the taller side.
With his stocky build I think he's gonna be a great driving donkey prospect !

What a " TINY " beauty this gal is ! When I paired Annie up with Cherry I was
expecting an awesome baby. But I think Izzy is even better then I expected !
At this time.... I'm still not really sure as to what color she really is. Once I am
able to get her out in the sun I should be able to tell more. As of right now she
looks to be a red or red / brown with roaning ?? But we will wait to see for sure.
Izzy has her daddy's beautiful small head and expressive eyes. Along with mom
and dads great conformation and wonderful personality.

extremely long hair throughout his coat and his mane lays down.

I had been keeping a close eye on Libby and knew she was getting close.
I checked her last night just before 8 p.m... Her teats and bag did not look
ready yet so I left her in the expecting mommy lot with the others.
We had storms move through over night so when I woke up I went out to check
on things. As I am looking around I noticed we had a huge branch down on the 
fence. While I am trying to see how bad it is. I noticed Libby standing looking up
 at me. Then I noticed a baby laying at her feet !!! I ran to check on her and the  
baby. Both were doing just great !! Thank Goodness !!!
Striker is such a handsome boy ! He has nice straight legs, thick bone, adorable head,
and a round rear end. We are extremely pleased with him !
Striker also has a TERRIFIC pedigree !! You name it and he's got it !! He has
so many well known donkeys behind him.... Dewey Meadows Primo, MGF RJ,
Valintino 50, Windcrest Cherries Jubilee and MGF Prime Time just to name a few.

She is finally here !!! Betsy's first foal since 2005 and she was Well Worth the
wait ! We thought Betsy was barren since we couldn't get her to settle in
3 years of trying. I had decided to give her one more chance. We hand bred
her to Lucky only one time and It Worked !!
This little girl is beautiful ! She has a cute head, nice bone, nice legs and
a nice top line. She has two black spots on her left front shoulder ( one you can
see in her head shot ), her spots on her body are brown and her legs are dark
gray / brown. Talk about colorful !
Her pedigree is very nice as well. On dads side she has a FULL pedigree with
mostly blacks, dark browns and spots. On moms side she has only 8 untraced
spaces and colors include browns, black, reds and grays. Some of the well known

Another beautiful baby ! This little guy made his appearance right in the middle of the day !
I knew at my morning check that Tardy was extremely close but figured she would at least
wait until dark. I had been cleaning the pastures when I noticed she was acting funny. So
I took her into the foaling stall so I could come to the house & watch her on the barn
cam. I didn't want to disturb her. At 3 p.m. she gave her first push and by 3:19 our
little guy was here !
 Rowdy is such a playful little guy ! He will run up to the other babies while they
" try " to rest and pick on them until they get up and play. What a silly boy !
Both Rustic and Tardy carry the woolly gene. We are excited to see if Rowdy will
be a woolly. It usually takes a few weeks / months to know if they are going to be or not.
He has nice conformation, thick bone and a terrific pedigree ! Plus he loves attention !

Zip arrived one week early. He is our first boy of the year and the
first baby to arrive on or before his due date. All the others were late !
We are very pleased with this guy. He has the prettiest spot pattern. Small
splashes here and there as well as larger spots.
Look at the nice thick bone he has. Just like his sire and grand sire !
We are excited to see if he will have the long woolly hair like his half sister
Faith. Both his mom and dad carry the woolly gene so the possibility is there !
He has an excellent full pedigree and lots of great color behind him.

Cassie is one beautiful gal ! Her color is stunning. A beautiful shade of Red & Brown
and all four legs are black. She is built perfect ! Very straight legs, wide in both front and

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Maggie's first foal. Maggie was the first foal ever born on our farm
and now has a baby of her own. Boomer is adorable & very loving. We had some minor complications while
Boomer was being delivered and called for the vet to come. Before the vet arrived we were able to get Boomer
safely delivered. When the vet arrived Boomer met him and was ready to play & love on him. Our vet couldn't believe
how friendly & loving this little guy was at only minutes old. LOL !!! He hasn't changed from that moment.
 As soon as he sees you he comes running for love & a little play time. Boomer is going to make an excellent pet.

Mocha & Lucky have done it again !! Another beautiful jennet !! This little girl is a full sister to our 2007 foal,
Mini J's Saddle Up Fancy. Though these two girls look nothing a like in color they are both quite the same
in conformation and personality.
This gal has a really nice solid build, short stocky neck, a round butt and nice legs. She is an ornery little girl.
At only an hour old she was up running, bucking and picking at Mocha. She just Loves attention !!!
When you enter her paddock you can guarantee that she is will be attached to your hip and begging for attention.

We are VERY pleased with our first baby of the year. What a beauty she is. Her color is to die for and she is well built.
We expected a great foal out of Mocha & Lucky but she is WAY better than expected.
In her brown patches she also has small black spots and if you look under her brown it is very dark under there as well.
